Our clear, straight-sided pewter and glass pitcher is ready to be admired and filled with cool drinks. Tall and slim it takes up only a small amount of table space yet imparts a large amount of style. Vagabond House pewter is cast and hand-finished to create the sturdy figurative oak leaf and branch handle, the pitcher rests on four feet of intricately detailed bouquets of oak leaves and acorn clusters. This is Brigit's favorite pitcher for serving her Winter Maple Sangria.
When designing for our Majestic Forest Collection, Scott is inspired by the Celtic belief of acorns as a symbol of attaining goals over a long period of time. To him, the tiny acorns symbolize his creative visions of our company and family goals, creating legacy quality serve ware and lasting family traditions is a mission we undertake one small step at a time.
Birgit's Winter Maple Sangria
1 1/2 cups unsweetened black cherry juice
or 1 cup Burgundy wine + 1/2 cup black cherry juice
1/2 cup fresh pomegranate seeds (from 1 pomegranate)
1 navel orange, halved and sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 green apple, cored and thinly sliced into wedges
1 1/2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
2 cups Cherry 7-Up, chilled
1 cup ginger ale, chilled
Ice
Combine Wine, cherry juice, maple syrup, mix well- add fruit, allow to stand overnight in the refridgerator
Just before serving add the 7-Up and Ginger ale - serve over Ice.
